Take Back the Classroom shows parents the pornographic books in their local schools. The site has searched and documented harmful books in hundreds of school districts nationwide.

Screen It First provides crowdsourced book monitoring. This public platform allows anyone to share and view snapshots of questionable content in children's books. The site features more than 4,000 screened books.

Destiny Follett is the online library catalog used by many school districts across America.

Mary in the Library USA is a Facebook page that posts materials parents may want to challenge in school libraries. The site features books from the Rated Books website.

We the People2.png

We the People 2 tracks 9,300+ book titles that have been submitted and undergone a school district reconsideration/ challenge process. Some of the books are linked to excerpts of questioned language.

Goodreads is the world’s largest site for readers and book recommendations. In addition to providing community reviews, the site's recommendation engine analyzes 20 billion data points to give suggestions tailored for the reader.

Common Sense Media reviews and provides ratings for media and technology with the goal of providing information on their suitability for children.

As a book seller, Amazon lists descriptions and other pertinent information about books it offers. Reviews are included, which can provide excellent information as to the suitability of books for children.

Romance IO Logo.png

Romance.IO provides information on more than 600,000 romance books, including ratings and reviews, steam ratings and content tags and warnings. Registered site users provide ratings and reviews.

Rated Reads is a resource for readers and parents searching for clean book reviews. It focuses on recently published books, providing detailed information about their content to help readers make educated decisions.

Both websites, The Story Graph and The Trigger Warning Database, provide summaries / lists of trigger words and topics. Sites can be searched by title, author or trigger content.
